In the United States and Canada the holiday set aside for a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year is called Thanksgiving Day. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the US and on the second Monday of October in Canada. Many cultures around the world observe similar celebrations as a time to show gratitude for all we have. This day is often celebrated at the time of harvest, when life appears to be most abundant.
During this week I would like to say that I am thankful for you.
As a gift of thanks I would like to share this poem which reminds us that every day is an opportunity to be celebrated as Thanksgiving Day. I’m Thankful for You Thanksgiving is the appointed time
for focusing on the good in our lives.
In each of our days,
we can find small blessings,
but too often we overlook them,
choosing instead to spend our time
paying attention to problems.
We give our energy
to those who cause us trouble
instead of those who bring peace.
Starting now,
let’s be on the lookout
for the bits of pleasure in each hour,
and appreciate the people who
bring love and light to everyone
who is blessed to know them.
You are one of those people.
On Thanksgiving,
I’m thankful for you.
Happy Thanksgiving! By Joanna Fuchs I am blessed to do what I do and to serve you as we walk our path together on this journey through this human birth. Here’s to harvesting the good in everything! Tracy Tracy Lynn Williams CPO (Chief Potential Officer)
